Emotional Tides

Settled in Honor

Relaxed in response

Not lazy but tolerant

What's KNOWN We don't flaunt.

A view from the River

A feather in flight

A dark-haloed Moon

With it's slivers of Light.

Brings deep things to surface

The hid things of Mind

They seek out the dark times

They seek their own kind.

A flustered existance

From too frequent thought

Is the habit you've chosen

Are the 'goods' that you've bought.

Abandon the notion

That 'thought' is the thing

And prepare for Emotions

That 'thought' never brings.

I saddle a horse

A steed that's called 'Night'

It's Essence is Brilliant

A white-stallioned sight.

What's Light comes in darkness

When thought's candles snuffed

Whats seen in that 'darkness'

Is always enough.

But, light of 'thought' bogles

And obscures with thought's 'light'

Extinuish that lantern

to set your Pathway Right.

The flow of Humanity's

Emotional Tides

Comes in and goes out

On Time's Cycles it rides.

To follow it's movement

Without fighting it's flow

Will quickly propel you

To where it will go.

To use it's direction

To harness it's flow

Let your destination

Be one you will KNOW.

Let Tide take you forward

If forward you'd Be

Hold back,(never counter)

To stand tall and Free.

To flow or not flow

Is acceptable motion

But, to fight Tide and Time

Is a most foolish notion.

Poseidon rules Tide while

Apollo rules Fire

And Demeter Earth

And Zeus Winds inspire.

Four Elements True

While a Fifth all combine

Quintessence the SOURCE

Of all Truth you will find.
