MATES

[The theme of this communication revolves around the arena of judgement. We place too
much emphasis on one side or the other in the course of our lives. An
attitude of Balance gives equal respect to the One Source from which all these dualities come.
Things that seem separate and antagonistic are, it seems, really
Mates.]
Order, Confusion
Children of Light
Cycles of Knowing
And Ignorant Night
Essence of Daylight
And dark evening’s shade
ALL from the same Artist’s brush
Are ALL made.
And We, as Observers,
In Life’s Gallery
Must never prejudge
The Creations we see.
And, those times when Chaos
Will rear it’s old face
Remember Disorder
Also has it’s Place.
Without some Destruction
Creation stops too,
Robbed of materials
To build things anew.
Don’t focus on one
While neglecting it’s Mate,
For both of them Give
And both of them Take.
We’re never assured
Of just which is 'Right'
We must embrace both
Of these Children of Light.
For Time has a way
Of amending our views
And what once was prudent
Hindsight would undo.
“Good” and then “Evil”,
Darkness and Light
Roller coast back
And forth in our Sight.
Because they are Equal
And part of the ONE,
To attempt separation
Will see us undone.
These Forces seek balance
And won’t be denied,
Or their opposite number
Will rush to their side.
So, routing out “Evil”
And embracing the “Good”,
Won’t have the effect
That You thought that it would!
Overbalancing "Water"
Must bring about "Fire"
And in larger amounts
Than at First (or desired).
Be fully at Peace
With All that is done
Knowing “Daylight” and “Evening”
Are Eternally ONE.
