No Judgments

So basic a theme

So basic a fact

A lack of Respect

Is where 'judgment' is at.

By having opinion

By taking a 'stand'

We rob from ourselves

And obscure the Great Plan

For every 'problem'

And, every 'defeat'

That we judge so just feeds them

And make strong what's weak.

What once was just one page

Of Life's novel 'book'

Becomes the whole story

And the path that we took.

Instead, stand away

Step back and you'll see

You're a part of a Plan

Of a World you can't see.

And, where there's a Plan

A Planner they'll Be

Who deserves the Respect

Of both you and of me.

Yours is too great a Story

To guess of it's end

The subplots and twists

Are real Gifts the One sends.

What's 'thought' all-important

Is but shadow and vile

While our Life's Path can change

With the subtlest smile

Or glance or sweet voice

What the world judges small

Are the Greatest of Gifts

From the Planner of ALL

In fact, the only Truth

From which not to budge

Is we don't know enough

Of the Grand Plan ... to judge.
