[These verses provide an entirely different view of the Purpose of Being Human.I never suspected that I was an "Agent of Chaos", (something right out of a "Get Smart" TV episode)! The difference is, however, that we're actually the "Good Guys" in this Drama of Life as Nature Herself has taken that into account for the Greater Good. I draw strength from reading these verses partly because they "shock" and shift me out of the standard pardigm of thought AND, at the same time, establish a strong link to timeless HOPE and PURPOSE for us all.]

You're thankful for Rest

Deserved, now it comes

Refreshing it's shadows

With Moon and not Sun

The Passive prevails

In the darkness of Fall

The Winter time's blanket

Is darkest of all.

The Cycles you've seen

At work all your Life

Are the Patterns to follow

To decrease Life's strife.

Don't fight a strong wind

Or swim against Tide

Don't buck the world's trends

If you want a great ride.

Just hold out your hand

Grasp Nature's in turn

She'll honor your efforts

And you'll easily learn,

That all that endures

Is the Changing of States

The "high" is brought lower

And, the "low" becomes great.

And, that all thats 'desired'

Is like grasping at sand

Best left in it's own place

As part of the Land.

All things to their place

Where their Energy flows

Their destiny's path

Is not what we know.

Man's function it seems

Is to foster "new" schemes

Interupt Nature's Path

By "disrupting" Her Dreams

For Man equals Chaos

But, it isn't a curse

It's just what you're here for

And, what you most thirst!

Create and Destroy

Take down what you "make"

It's part of the Plan

And it's part of your fate.

You're the "Changers of Paths"

Educators of Souls

You acquire perfection

When you most lose 'control'.

The Yin and the Yang

The Cycles you ride

Are made to consume

The essence of Pride

For none are allowed

To cling to their "best"

Until they achieve

DESIRE-LESS-NESS.

But Chaos is needed 

It's the oft needed shove

That permits new adventures

And exposes God's Love

It opens your Lives

To what you'd ignore

Without that diversion

Life is a bore.

No Movement, no Life

The Law so declares

It's easiest to follow

When you don't express care

Care equals "Desire"

In the way thing's 'should be'

An attempt to play God

- An INSANITY.

Only stress is produced

When you lay out a 'plan'

Your energies wasted,

On a habit of Man

Stand back from the edge

Chaos give its due

It readies the Path

For You and for You

You don't have to build it

The Road builds itself

It ignores men of power

And laughs at man's 'wealth'

No 'system' contains it

Nature protects well

Chaos turns 'heaven'

Into man-designed hells

The better to prompt

A new way to Live

By changing your Life Path

With new Gifts to give

Step back from the Chaos

By suspending your thought

And divert all these changes

With the Peace you have bought

There's Peace in the 'Thoughtless'

In the Quieted Mind

True Power lies deep there

Where none seek to find

For 'Void' is a vacuum

That must become filled

Your Thought is the Vessel

So guard your Mind's Will

You're molding reality

From Chaotic froth

By letting go Thought

Somehow, nothing is lost!
